Mock Book Cover

This was for my Design for Illustration class. We were to choose between three books and make a cover for them.

I really enjoyed drawing the font myself. =)

No Updates

I feel really bad that I still have not posted much. Between finding a job, looking for loans and getting ready to move my mother's stuff into storage. Things have been hectic. Its been even worse with no scanner for new work. This is seriously damaging my chances of finding a internship. I am lucky to have been able to get some work on the computer and will have it posted soon.

Summer time!

It is now my summer vacation!
However I have no job, no access to a good scanner for new work.
So far all jobs that I applied to turned me down, one of them was rather insulting.
I haven't heard back about internships...

Summer!

Summer is almost here! You know what that means!
Its time once again I have to move out my dorm... crud buckets.

Sketch Dump

I sketch ideas and roughs like crazy, too bad some never get "finalized" or even coloured.

A work in progress... I still don't like how it looks. =P

 Above was my first idea for the Green Angel book cover, the teacher liked it but said it wasn't really book cover material. I'm still going to try and make this into a cut paper illustration.

Book Cover and Final Tranquil Lights

 A cut paper illustration piece I did for a class. This is suppose to be a book cover alternative for "Green Angel" by Alice Hoffman. If you haven't read it yet, there is something terribly wrong with you.

 Here is the completed version of Tranquil Lights. This took a while, had to go through some variations.
